About Thomas

Tom is a 30-year veteran of the golf industry and was elected to the PGA of America in 1991. He has worked for KemperSports Management for 25 years serving as a golf professional, General Manager, and Regional Vice President based in the Mid-Atlantic Region. He has worked with numerous clubs and has experience in both the public and private sectors. Tom is passionate about the Member experience and serving his Members and guests. Most recently, Tom was the GM at Eagles Nest, one of our clubs in Maryland. Tom assumed the role of General Manager at the Club soon after purchasing it from the Members in 2017. Tom and his wife Cindy have two children, Blake and Emmy, and can’t wait to move down to the warm climate of Florida!

About Matthew

Matt brings over 15 years of sales and relationship management experience. Matt began his hospitality journey within the restaurant industry. His Iowa City restaurant was voted most romantic both years he was there. After meeting his wife Ruhee, he started a family with Mason and Maverik. Matt transitioned to banking for a leading Fortune 50. He was labeled the top finance sales producer within the consumer lending division before departing to Florida. Prior to Matt taking over the Membership Director role at Countryside, he championed the payments industry helping local neighbors save time and money. Within 3 years he was helping to facilitate over $75MM in transaction volume while monitoring over 1MM transactions annually. McCracken also finds the time to give back, donating his time and money to Wounded Warrior Project, Folds of Honor, 22 Until Valhalla and numerous groups helping our veterans, military and first responders.

About Ashley

Ashley joined the Countryside team in November 2015. Ashley was previously Countryside's Children's / Fitness Program Coordinator and is now serving as our Member Experience Director. Ashley obtained a B.A.S degree in Management and Organizational Leadership from St. Petersburg College. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with family, friends and going to Universal. Ashley enjoys planning events and is excited to create unforgettable experiences for our Members here at Countryside!

About Michael

Michael was born and raised in New York City where he found his early interest in the industry, being alongside his Father who owned multiple bars and restaurants around the city. Michael went to work at the flagship Smith & Wollensky's on 3rd & 49th St and Union Square Cafe before moving to Cleveland - GO BROWNS - where he joined the Invited family at Shoreby Club and Quail Hollow Country Club. In April of 2018 he moved to Florida and joined the team at Countryside Country Club. He is happy to be here and is thrilled to be enjoying the warm weather of Florida and not the harsh winters of Ohio!

About Jeff

Chef Jeff joined Countryside Country Club in August 2020. He comes to us from Feather Sound Country Club where he spent the last 10 years. Prior to his time at Feather Sound, he was Chef/Partner at Tuscano Grill in Safety Harbor. Jeff is looking forward to putting his touch on the Food & Beverage operation and leading his culinary team to produce an unforgettable dining experience for our membership. When he is not at the Club, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Holly, and their two boys, Braxton and Mason!

About Mike

Mike has been involved in golf since the age of 9. He has worked in all segments of golf in his career to include public, semi-private, private and running golf courses for the United States Air Force in Las Vegas and Panama City. Besides spending time with his wife Mary and 2 kids, Jacob & Sarah, he also enjoys golf, sporting events and spending time with his 3 dogs.

About Benjamin

Ben joined Countryside in 2016. He is a PGA Associate and is working towards receiving his Class A Certification. Ben's passion for golf and his great sense of humor make him a favorite of our Members. In his spare time, Ben enjoys being outdoors and exercising.

About Brian

Brian joined the Countryside Country Club team in August of 2017. Originally from North Carolina, he began his career in the golf course maintenance industry by pushing a mower and raking traps at Highlands Country Club, in 1990. After a couple of seasons, he fell in love with the work as well as the game. Brian then went into the Turf Grass Management Program at North Carolina State University and graduated in 1996. He then returned to his home club as the assistant superintendent for his first few professional years.Along the way, Brian has been an assistant superintendent in Philadelphia, and California at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, where he succeeded in the Superintendent position in 2002. After 15 years in California, he made his way back to the Southeast to be closer to his family who still resides in North Carolina. Brian is very excited about the opportunity to serve Countryside Country Club and looks forward to forging new relationships with our members as well as co-worker...

About Kellie

Kellie stated her career with Invited in 1993 at the Fairlane Club in Dearborn, Michigan.  Kellie's career path starting out consisting of many different tasks in the Athletic Department with her having to complete a 30 credit internship from Central Michigan University.  After her intern was complete, she was hired permanently as the Front Desk & Program Supervisor working her way up through the company.  Through the years, Kellie has been the Athletic Director at:  The Fairlane Club in Dearborn (1993 - 1998), Michigan, Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton, Michigan (1998 - 2002) and most recently at Countryside Country Club in Clearwater, Florida (2002 - current).Kellie has her Bachelor of Arts from Central Michigan University.  She majored in Commerical Recreation & Facility Management and minored in Business Management & Dance.  Kellie is currently certified through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).

About Matt

Over 25 years teaching all ages and skill levels from Division 1 athletes to adults and children. Matt has been Nationally ranked #5 in Mens Doubles and #15 Nationally in singles. He is a two time Talbert Cup Champion and well as holding over 25 Mid Atlantic singles and doubles championships. Matt is a 3 time USTA 5.0 National Champion. Matt hails from Baltimore and in his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and 3 dogs!

About Jose

Jose has worked at Countryside Country Club for the past 11 years.  He was hired in the Maintenance Department but is now currently the Director of Facilities Maintenance.  There is not much that Jose can't fix.  Countryside is so fortunate to have someone as knowledgeable as Jose on the CCC team.
