About Jim

Jim graduated with a B.S. in business from Ferris State University, in Big Rapids, Michigan. He served as the head golf professional at Grand Traverse Resort, in Traverse City, Michigan from 1990 to 1993.In 1993 Jim became the head golf professional at West Shore Golf and Country Club in Michigan.  There he served the membership for 14 years. In November 2006 he accepted the position of General Manager at Grosse Ile Golf and Country Club. Jim also held the GM positions at Prestwick Country Club in Chicago and Golden Valley Country Club in Golden Valley.He currently resides in Plymouth with his wife Lori and three boys.

About Stephanie

Stephanie comes to us from Downtown Resource Group where she has been responsible for planning, promoting, organizing, and executing a variety of fun events for the company’s clients. Stephanie has experience in the private club and golf business having spent time working at Hazeltine and Bemidji T&CC. Stephanie is excited to bring her passion for event planning here to Medina to lead the team’s efforts to continuously enhance the member experience. Stephanie will be focusing on developing an exciting year-round calendar of programs to help you stay connected to your club all year long.When Stephanie's not working, you can find her cruising the lakes in her families boat, gardening, renovating her house, cooking, and any kind of outdoor activity she can make time for.

About Carol

Carol grew up in South Dakota. She attended Northern State   University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She later graduated from Metropolitan University in Minneapolis with a BA in Marketing and Business. Carol spent her career at US West and later retired from Century Link Communications. She joined the Medina team in 2011. Most days, you can find Carol at the front desk   assisting members and co-workers with everything under the sun. Carol resides in Maple Grove, Minnesota. She is a proud grandmother of five grandsons and loves spending her time with family and friends.

About Jenny

A Florida native, Jenny moved to the Twin Cities area in the Spring of 2019. She graduated with a B.S. in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Management from the University of Florida. Her previous work experience includes working for our US Navy’s morale, welfare, and recreation programs both stateside and abroad. Her most recent position held was serving as the Catering Sales Director at Golden Valley Country Club. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, biking, and being outdoors. She currently resides in Corcoran with her boyfriend on their hobby farm. “I look forward to meeting you and growing our outstanding membership at Medina Golf & Country Club!” - Jenny

About Scott

Scott has been a Tennis Director at Medina for 18 years. He has 43 years of Tennis teaching experience. Scott is a USPTA Professional 1 and has played for the University of Minnesota and North Dakota State University. Scott has a wife Rose and two children, Luke and Sophie.

About Peter

Chef Peter comes to Medina from Tamarisk Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California, where he served as the Executive Chef over the club’s culinary operations since 1995. Prior to joining the Tamarisk team, Chef Peter served as Executive Chef for Hilton Hotels after spending three years as Executive Chef at Old Baldy Country Club in Saratoga, WY. Peter also served for three years as Chef for the California Speedway in charge of infield operations. Chef Peter completed his culinary education in Germany in 1980. Chef Peter is excited for the opportunity to share his experience with the Medina culinary team, and to lead the team in its efforts to provide exceptional dining experiences for the Club’s members and guests.

About Colin

Colin comes to us from Midland Hills Country Club, where he has served as the F&B Director for the last 2 years. Colin’s extensive experience in F&B began in 1995 as a Lead Cook right here at Medina back when we were known as Rolling Green Country Club. His experience also includes 5 years at Golden Valley Country Club as the F&B Director, and 15 years at Lafayette Club as F&B Manager.

About Katie

My name is Katie Frick and I look forward to joining the Medina Country Club Staff. I am a teacher and volleyball coach at Wayzata High School. Growing up in the area, I have a huge appreciation for the community and all the resources this area has to offer. In college, I certified lifeguards and was a manager at our Outdoor Recreation Center in Winona, MN. I look forward to a great summer with Medina Country Club!

About Sade

Sade graduated with a BS degree in Kinesiology from Iowa State University. Her experience in fitness goes as far back as grade school, where she was a 5-sport athlete up through high school. She was a collegiate rugby athlete for five years and then served as an assistant coach to the team for two years. In 2015 she moved to Minnesota with her wife and three dogs. After settling in, she pursued a career as a personal trainer for Life Time Fitness. During her time at Lifetime she was the group training coordinator and front line personal trainer for 4.5 years. Her certifications and specializations span from MMA conditioning to bodybuilding and powerlifting. Sade is excited about the opportunity to bring together a community by motivating and educating members on their health and wellness goals. When she is not in the Sports Club, you can find her chatting up football (Go Chiefs!) and enjoying time with her wife and pups.

About Mike

Mike graduated from Rutgers University, with a degree in turfgrass management, in New Brunswick, NJ. He served as an Assistant Superintendent at Minnesota Valley Country Club, before taking the role of Assistant Superintendent at Olympic Hills Golf Club. From there he moved on to become the Superintendent of Ridges at Sand Creek Golf Course in Jordan, MN. He is very excited to bring his passion for providing quality playing conditions and love of the golf to Medina Golf and Country Club. Mike, his wife Anna and their two children live in Carver, MN.
