About John

John Ronis has been teaching in the Middle Atlantic Section for over 20 years. He is well known for his development of junior golfers, who have played in over 10 USGA National Championships, including Match Play portions of those events. His service oriented approach and calm demeanor makes his teaching fun and enjoyable for all levels of players. His simplistic approach, and use of cutting edge technology has yielded results for thousands of students.John played his collegiate golf at The University of Connecticut, where he was a four year starter and 3 year captain.John is co host of "Sunday Tee Time" with Steve Czaban, on ESPN 980 and "The Capitol Golf Gang" podcast.

About Scott

Scott grew up in Sterling VA and graduated from Park View HS. He then attended Fairmont State University WV, on a baseball scholarship. He began his golf career in 2002 as the Director of Instruction at the Sterling Park Golf Swim and Tennis Club as well as a lead instructor for Nike Golf Schools. He was an Outside Operations Manager and Caddiemaster at Trump National Washington DC before coming to River Creek in 2009. Scott is now an Assistant Golf Professional and Head of Golf Instruction at River Creek.

About Jeffrey

Jeff joins the River Creek team following a long and diverse journey in Golf Course Management. He earned degrees in biology and chemistry, but has devoted his career to the golf industry where he has been involved in all levels of property development & management, as well as directing full-scale agronomic programs. Jeff is excited to continue to apply what he has learned to refine the golf course maintenance program at River Creek, providing the utmost conditions to Members and their guests. Jeff has lived in Bluemont, VA with his wife Tracy, a biology teacher, and daughters Madison and Ryleigh for more than 20 years. He is an outdoors enthusiast; and enjoys sailing, running, cycling, and generally any outdoor activity that he can share with family and friends.
