Trophy Club Country Club is a beautifully kept Trophy Club/Southlake golf location. We proudly oversee Ben Hogan’s singular golf course design with care and respect. The Hogan Course at Trophy Club places the same demands on a player’s accuracy and intellect that Mr. Hogan placed on himself. The Whitworth Course at Trophy Club is an equally challenging, modern golf course design.

Spectacular championship golf practice facilities, along with a penchant for great instruction and fun social programming, make the golf experience at this DFW golf club a unique and rewarding escape. Our competitive junior golf programs are highly regarded by area college golf programs, and our professional golf instructors prepare our competitive juniors to excel in area tournaments, improve their game and prepare them to reach all their serious golf goals.

Our Courses

In 1975, Ben Hogan, in collaboration with professional architect Joe Lee, started the initial design of our Hogan course. Joe Lee did the overall routings and Ben detailed the playing areas. He even went as far as to personally mark all the trees that were to be removed before work started, he was committed to his vision of creating an exciting course for golfers at all levels to enjoy. Today our Hogan course is described by our Members as challenging, innovative, and a rewarding escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Trophy Club, originally named because of its intention to house all of Ben Hogan's trophies, was designed to honor Hogan’s profound influence on the game. Hogan's nine career professional major championships tie him with Gary Player for fourth all-time, trailing only Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, and Walter Hagen. He is one of only five players to have won all four majors: the Master's Tournament, The Open Championship, the U.S. Open, and the PGA Championship. Trophy Club continues to honor Ben Hogan and his impact on the game of golf, on and off the course.

In 2008, the second of the two 18-hole championship golf courses was named The Whitworth Course to honor retired LPGA golfer Kathy Whitworth, who was a long-time Trophy Club resident. Kathy Whitworth holds the record for the most tour victories by any professional golfer, male or female, and our Club houses a majority of the 88 trophies from those victories. You can find her trophies in the main dining room, affectionately known as The Whit, along with photos and personal mementos from her exceptional career in golf.

Indoor Golf Simulator

The golf environment of our indoor simulator may be virtual, but the exhilaration is as real as it gets. Here at The Swing Suite, you can sharpen your swing as advanced technology immerses you in the moment — or work on your short game in our separate indoor putting space. There are many benefits to practicing with an indoor golf simulator. The weather here in the Trophy Club/ Southlake area can be unpredictable, with our indoor golf simulator you have the opportunity to practice your swing and play a round of golf no matter what the weather is like outside. Our indoor golf simulator is also incredibly convenient, positioned close to our bar and dining area, you’re never too far from a mid-round snack or beverage.

Members at Trophy Club Country Club also love the customizable settings as well as the data-tracking capabilities of our indoor golf simulator. Choose a course based on your skill level and enjoy watching your techniques improve in real time. Our simulator provides data on your swing, ball speed, and many other metrics designed to help you improve your golf game.

Golf Leagues

Trophy Club Country Club has a long, proud connection to the game of golf. For Members looking to hone their skills or simply have fun while learning the basics, we offer several golf leagues to suit a range of ages and interests. In addition to our Ladies’ Golf Association, Men’s Golf Association and Junior Player Development Program, the Club is home to Bad Moms Golf, where new players can enjoy a socially focused introduction to the game in a low-pressure setting.

    Crush It! Juniors Program

    Based on principles of the American Development Model (ADM), Trophy Club Country Club’s Crush It! Juniors Program is a game-changing golf development program designed to help your junior golfers develop a deep love for the game and the abilities needed to perform on the course.

    Whether new or familiar with the game and for fun or friendly competition, the program provides kids with the tools to engage proactively in life and learn valuable lessons they can use in all areas of their lives, while at the same time enabling them to engage in developmentally appropriate experiences and learning opportunities that connect child and family at every step through a progression pathway.

    Game On! Program

    Whether you’re picking up a club for the first time or if you’re coming back to the sport after some time off, Trophy Club Country Club’s Game On! Program provides the ideal way for golfers to experience learning the game in an environment and structure that will enable them to build the skills, knowledge and social connections to actively play the game and maximize your Trophy Club Country Club membership.

    Where Game On! differs from other traditional programs is that it does not measure success based on completing a set number of classes. Instead, success is defined when you have achieved the criteria set out within a 3-Level Progression Pathway that ensures you have harnessed the knowledge, experiences and appropriate level of skill to play the golf course. The length of time spent on the program varies between golfer but it’s why golf is a journey, not a marathon.
