About Josh

Josh comes to us from the Country Club of Winter Haven, located in Winter Haven, Florida, where he compiled an impressive record of improvements in member satisfaction, quality of the overall experience and bottom-line results. Josh is a Class A PGA Professional who has built on his solid foundation in golf operations to gain strong experience in every facet of private club operations.

About Kate

Kate is originally from the Midwest. She graduated from High Point University with a degree in marketing. She enjoys painting in her free time and spending time with friends and family!

About Sheila

Sheila was born and raised in Hilton Head, South Carolina until she moved in 2011. She has worked at numerous Country Clubs on the coast and started with us at Firethorne in 2012. Sheila began her career as a Dining Room Server, and has since been promoted to Dining Room Manager. She also has expertise in bartending, banquets, and in the kitchen. Sheila has been noted as one of our biggest team players and is truly loved by all of our Members and staff. When she has free time, you can find her with her 3 daughters and spoiling her 3 grandchildren who call her “MiMa”, or decorating her new home that she closed on in November. About Austin

Austin grew up in Pinehurst, North Carolina and was a decorated junior golfer, winning many tournaments, most notably, a North Carolina 4A State Championship in High School. After graduating, he enlisted in the Army as a military police officer and interned at Ko'Olina Golf Club in Oahu, Hawaii. Most recently, he worked as an assistant golf professional at Rolling Hills Country Club in Monroe.

About Aaron

Aaron grew up in Statesville, NC and fell in love with golf at age 12. He played in high school and later became more serious about the game after college. He has had success in amateur events, including multiple top 5 finishes in his flight at the Myrtle Beach World AM. After working as a manager at TopGolf, he now works as an Assistant Golf Professional at Firethorne Country Club and is pursuing the Professional Golf Management program to advance his career.

About Wade

Wade has been a part of the Firethorne Management team since 1999. He was once ranked 8th in the nation in doubles at Methodist University. Currently, he is a USTA high performance coach and certified P-1 with the USPTA. When Wade is not on the court, you’ll find him spending time with his wife and 2 kids, enjoying Panthers football, and grilling when the weather is nice.wade.liles@clubcorp.com

About Eddie

Eddie Jalemo was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He began his career as a tennis teacher in 2005 and has since become a USPTA Elite Professional. He has been in Charlotte for 18 years and at Firethorne for 7 years. Eddie enjoys playing disc golf in his free time.

About Joe

Joe has been at Firethorne Country Club for 18 years. He graduated from Catawba College in 1995 where he played on the tennis team. Joe's hobbies include tennis, pickleball, playing the Guitar, reading, and spending time with his wife and 3 children.
