About Eric

Eric brings a strong passion for the game of golf that he has had since a very young age.  Growing up in the Ocean City, Maryland area, he was taught the game of golf by many of the local golf professionals. Eric attended Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington, Delaware, obtaining a Business Management degree.  Following college, he began his career in the golf industry at Ocean City Golf Club as a PGA Assistant Golf Professional under the direction of Buddy Sass.  In 2012, he moved back to this area to work at Wilmington Country Club.   At Wilmington, he served seven seasons under the direction of Joe Guillebeau and Michael Shank.  He is a certified club fitter in all of the major equipment brands.  In 2017, he was inducted into the Callaway Golf Staff Hall of Fame.  Eric brings over 10 years of experience as a Golf Professional to the membership at Hartefeld National.Eric and his beautiful wife, Danielle, have an amazing little boy named Gavin who will be turning two in June.  Their ...

R.G. Hackett was born and raised in Hockessin, DE. After high school, his passion for golf led him to Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL, where he graduated with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism. R.G. worked nine years at White Clay Creek Country Club in Wilmington, DE, where he was promoted to Assistant Professional in 2009. In 2013, R.G. joined Fieldstone Golf Club, a private course in Greenville, DE, as Assistant Professional. He served his last eight years at Hillendale Country Club, where he was promoted to Head Golf Professional. R.G. brings a strong passion for the game of golf.
