About Aaron

Aaron is a proud Michigander since birth and attended Sterling Heights Stevenson High School and graduated from Baker College with a B.A. in Business. His love for this area and the club industry runs deep. He has 15+ years of experience in the golf and country club industry, as a General Manager and Membership Director. Aaron returns home to Oakhurst where many of you will remember him from his days as the Membership Director (2019-2020). He most recently served as the General Manager at TPC Michigan. During his free time, Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife Alicia and their daughters Elena and Leighton. Besides his love for the game of golf, Aaron is also a huge Detroit sports fan. Aaron and his family are excited to be back home. He is eager to begin building relationships and continuing the success and growth of the Club.

About Matt

Matt Andrus is a Troy Michigan native graduating from Avondale High school where he played varsity hockey and baseball. He went on to Adrian College and graduated in 2016 with a degree in Sports Management and was on the baseball team for four years. Before joining Oakhurst Matt worked for the Detroit Tigers as an Account Executive.Matt is married to his wife Taylor and has a dog named Brooklyn. He has a passion for golf, Michigan athletics and Detroit sports teams. He also enjoys his peloton workouts and traveling.

About Reginia

Reginia was born and raised in Michigan. Reginia started at Oakhurst in 1999 as a server and has held several positions including Dining Room Manager and Events Coordinator. She accepted the position as Member Relations Director in 2017.Reginia enjoys cooking, motorcycle riding and camping with her husband Scott of 26 years.

About Matt

Born in Houston, Texas University of Central Florida - Bachelor of Sciences Business Management - Entrepreneurship Track I enjoy golfing, outdoor family activities, watching the Lions lose on Sunday's. Fun fact, my first job was a caddie at Oakhurst from 2001-2006. After graduating from Lake Orion High School, I moved to Florida to attend the University of Central Florida. After graduating college, I was already working in the F&B industry serving and bartending and made the move to management at a restaurant in Universal Studios City Walk. Since then, I've managed in the entertainment industry for the past 12 years working in theme parks, music venues, fine dining establishments, and the golf entertainment sector as well. My family and I are moved back to Michigan from Raleigh, North Carolina, where we've spent the last 4 years growing our family. My wife Alyssa is also from Lake Orion, but we met down in Florida which is a fun story, and we have a 6-year-old daughter named Sophia and a 2-year-old son named Joey. We are extremely happy to be returning home and making Oakhurst part of our family as well.

About Lindsay

Lindsay graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Oakland University. She also has a degree in Human Resources and is a certified Massage Therapist. She found her passion for Private Events while working numerous events and wedding receptions while attending college. When she finished her degree she knew she wanted to pursue the Private Event world. She worked for 9 years at the Fountains Golf Course and was promoted to the Private Events Director after 4 years. She joined the Oakhurst family in 2017 and loves her role and helping create Magic Moments for her guests. She enjoys all the details that every event entails. She loves getting to know all of her hosts and making each and every event perfect according to their needs. Lindsay lives in Clarkston, MI with her husband Case and her two kids Jackson and Addyson.

About George

Regarded as one of the top players in the State, George has competed in two National PGA Championships (Southern Hills-1994 and Valhalla-1996), many state and national championships and was the Winner of the 1988 Venezuelan open.  Member of the NIKE Tour (now WEB.com), and Member of the victorious 1994 United States PGA CUP Team vs Europe.  George also serves as Secretary/player for the Detroit Red Wings Alumni Association. George has been married to his wife Tracy (1992) and is the proud father to Natalie, Nicolas and Harrison. Hobbies include music, skiing and hockey.

About Dan

Dan is originally from Tampa, Florida and attended college at Florida State University. He graduated in 2007 with a degree in Professional Golf Management and Hospitality. He obtained his membership into the PGA of America in 2008. He has previously worked at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina as an Assistant Professional, Meadowcreek Golf Course as Teaching Professional, Head Professional at River Wilderness Golf and Country Club and Head Professional at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club. Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife Molly and their daughter Grace who was born in January 2022. Molly is originally from Bloomfield Hills and is looking forward to being back home. In his free time Dan enjoys fishing, playing golf and playing poker. Dan is a Class A PGA Golf Professional with over 15 years of golf instruction experience. Dan will assist Matt Barton and is dedicated to helping you with your game.

About Adam

Adam began this position following an extensive career in golf course and turf management in both privately and corporate owned properties. He has provided the company and courses where he has served with a clear vision, youthful charisma and leadership style that has yielded results. This success has been a concerted effort as he has worked to build a positive team approach while raising performance standards for all employees. His work ethic and philosophy of leading by example has allowed him to achieve a high level of success and become an award winning superintendent.Over his twenty-year tenure with American Golf Corporation, he has prided himself by being the very best at what he does. From his early days at Detwiler Golf Course in Toledo, Ohio where he began as a general labor, he earned the American Golf Corporation scholarship. About Amy

Amy is responsible for the Club’s Member billing and accounting.  She has been in the finance industry for the last 23 years and with Oakhurst since June 2017.  She is dedicated to the club’s membership and strives to make each Member and guest her number one priority.Amy lives in Clarkston with her husband Mike of 20 years and has two wonderful children and a dog named “Bubba”.  In her off hours she enjoys going to her cottage on Lake St. Clair to spend time with family and friends.
