A Premier Chicago-Area Golf Experience
Rolling Green’s 18-hole golf course offers a rewarding challenge for golfers of all levels. Elevated tees offer an excellent perspective of various holes and challenge players to play to their maximum potential. The well-maintained ponds reflect the blue of the sky and function as both decorations and hazards on nine of the 18 holes. With a slope of 132 and a course rating of 71.5, many holes are demanding and difficult, but the natural splendor of the surrounding makes even a poorly played hole an enjoyable experience. Rolling Green has always maintained one of the best-conditioned golf courses in the Chicago area and greens are cut daily.
The Championship Golf Course hosted Western Open qualifying tournaments throughout the 70s and continues to host Illinois PGA Tournaments. With bent grass tees, fairways and greens, Rolling Green CC offers a fair but challenging test of golf on a course that is maintained to the highest standards.
Caddie Program
Caddies in golf are believed to have started in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1817 and since then have been synonymous with the game. Not only can a caddie make a walking round of golf easier on the player physically, but they are also use their expertise to help any golfer with strategic decisions to help lower their score.
At Rolling Green Country Club, we are proud to have a wonderful caddie program that supports the Evans Scholarship Foundation. Each year, caddies from our club are eligible to apply for this scholarship which provides full housing and college tuition for caddies with limited financial means. Caddies must be 14 years old to apply. Rolling Green has at least one winner of this scholarship each year and in many years have three winners.

Crush It! Juniors Program
Based on principles of the American Development Model (ADM), Rolling Green Country Club’s Crush It! Juniors Program is a game-changing golf development program designed to help your junior golfers develop a deep love for the game and the abilities needed to perform on the course.
Whether new or familiar with the game and for fun or friendly competition, the program provides kids with the tools to engage proactively in life and learn valuable lessons they can use in all areas of their lives, while at the same time enabling them to engage in developmentally appropriate experiences and learning opportunities that connect child and family at every step through a progression pathway.

Whether you’re picking up a club for the first time or if you’re coming back to the sport after some time off, Rolling Green Country Club’s Game On! Program provides the ideal way for golfers to experience learning the game in an environment and structure that will enable them to build the skills, knowledge and social connections to actively play the game and maximize your Rolling Green Country Club membership.
Where Game On! differs from other traditional programs is that it does not measure success based on completing a set number of classes. Instead, success is defined when you have achieved the criteria set out within a 3-Level Progression Pathway that ensures you have harnessed the knowledge, experiences and appropriate level of skill to play the golf course. The length of time spent on the program varies between golfer but it’s why golf is a journey, not a marathon.

About Marshall
Originally from Atlanta, Marshall Saxon comes to Rolling Green by way of Ocean Spring, MS. With 20+ years of experience working at prominent clubs throughout the US, clubs that include East Lake GC in Atlanta, Cherry Hills CC in Denver, and Troon North GC in Scottsdale, he looks forward to leading the golf operation at RGCC. Marshall is excited to coach the membership at RGCC to bring your golf game to the next level. Marshall is an accomplished tournament player (competed in 2022 PGA National Championship and 2019 PGA National Assistant’s Championship) with multiple professional wins and has learned the game from 8 Golf Magazine/Golf Digest Top 100/50 Instructors. Marshall loves making a big deal about member/guest services and is excited to raise the level of service to stay in-line with the needs of RGCC members. Marshall has two daughters, Mackenzie (14) and Maci (8) and enjoys spending time with family when away from golf.

About Jeremy
Jeremy grew up in Northwest Indiana and attended Purdue University before heading out west to begin his golf career at the Westin Kierland in Scottsdale, AZ. While there, he developed a love for teaching the game of golf. During his time in Arizona Jeremy was mentored by some of the best golf instructors in the country including Mike LaBauve, Sandy LaBauve and Jim Hardy. All of whom are Golf Digest “Top 100 Teachers” in America. He then spent the next few seasons at Cowboys Club in Grapevine, TX before heading back to Indiana. For the last three seasons Jeremy has been serving as the assistant golf professional, and most recently teaching professional, at White Hawk Country Club in Crown Point, IN.
