Inspired by Our Heritage

In 1987, The City Club of Washington was founded as a private yet inclusive environment that would bring together prominent business and social leaders of Washington, D.C., for constructive conversation and shared experiences. Situated within walking distance of the White House, National Monuments and the Pennsylvania Avenue Corridor, The City Club is rooted with a strong foundation built on rich tradition.

Meet the Board of Governors Chair

Dick Kimberly of Kimberly Clark Paper Company is well versed in the paper industry, and even though the Kimberly family no longer leads the company that holds their name, their rich family tradition continues today. Dick's leadership skills and knowledge of the industry world are a vital asset to The City Club of Washington, and we are honored to have him as a chief member of our community.
