About Shannon
Certifications/Education: NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, Technogym Golf Performance Certification
B.A. Business Administration/Marketing University of Arkansas-Little Rock
Specialty/Experience: My specialty is sports performance. My training programs are centered around improving agility, quickness, rotational power, and lateral speed. I'm also well versed in plyometrics and train primarily basketball and tennis athletes.
Favorite exercise: Power Clean
Favorite food indulgence: Pizza and Tex-Mex
Hobbies: cooking, traveling, flag football, basketball, and watching action-themed movies
What/who inspires you? My inspiration comes from my Mom. She has been a teacher my entire life and often shows me that despite any struggles you may experience, there is always an opportunity to continually improve yourself and not allow the past to define your future.
Interesting fact about you: I was a state champion powerlifter in high school. I've had the opportunity to work under a strength and conditioning specialist whose trained many high-profile athletes from multiple backgrounds including the NFL and MLB.
