Our Story
TPC Piper Glen is a private golf and country club located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The club was designed by the Arnold Palmer and opened in 1988.
Palmer, a legendary golfer, designed the course to create a challenging yet playable layout that golfers of all skill levels would enjoy. He incorporated natural features of the land, such as streams and ponds, into the course design, creating a beautiful and unique golfing experience.
The golf course quickly gained a reputation as one of the best in the region and became a popular venue for professional and amateur golf tournaments. In 1989, the PGA Tour recognized the quality of the course by selecting it as the site for the annual Home Depot Invitational. The Club hosted this invitational from 1990 to 2001.
In 1994, the PGA Tour officially designated the course as a TPC (Tournament Players Club) facility, making it one of the few private golf clubs in the country to be affiliated with the PGA Tour. This affiliation allows TPC Piper Glen Members to play other TPC courses nationwide.
Today, TPC Piper Glen is a popular destination for golfers and non-golfers. In addition to the golf course, the club offers a wide range of amenities, including tennis courts, a swimming pool, and fine dining. The club also hosts various social events throughout the year, making it a hub for the community.
