Terms and Conditions
OVERVIEW
The Associate Clubs International Program (the “ACI Program”) is a benefit program in which participating clubs offer certain privileges to members from other participating clubs (referred to generally herein as “Associate Club benefits”).
As used herein “Participant” means an eligible individual or family holding a membership in good standing at a membership-based club (“Home Club”) that has agreed to offer its members certain benefits at other participating clubs (each an “Associate Club”) through the ACI Program. Associate Clubs are comprised of clubs affiliated with Invited that have chosen to participate in the ACI Program as well as wholly unaffiliated clubs that have entered into an agreement with ClubCorp USA, Inc. d/b/a Associate Clubs International (“ACI”) to participate in the ACI Program. ACI administers all Associate Club benefits, which are a non-exclusive, revocable license to access certain Associate Club facilities and related privileges as described more fully herein, and vary based on Participant’s eligibility, category and level of benefits, and Home Club. All rates referenced herein are subject to increases and applicable taxes.
Access to Associate Clubs, away from Participant’s Home Club, is only available through participation in an available category of Associate Club benefits. Members of a Home Club generally do not have access to Associate Clubs or other clubs within the Invited network by virtue of their Home Club membership alone.
Associate Club benefits are subject to these Terms and Conditions, which may be amended or modified by ACI at any time in its sole and absolute discretion without notice to Participants, and to any terms and conditions imposed by Participant’s Home Club. Participant is encouraged to review these Terms and Conditions periodically for changes. Associate Club benefits may be revoked, amended, modified or discontinued at any time by ACI or by Participant’s Home Club, and shall not be relied on in deciding to join a Home Club.
By virtue of their participation in Associate Club benefits, Participants do not hold a membership in ACI, Invited or any Associate Club other than Participant’s Home Club. Except as otherwise expressly agreed to by ACI, Participants may not participate in more than one category of Associate Club benefits simultaneously regardless of the number of Home Club memberships Participant may hold.
ACI reserves the right to require participation fees or dues from Associate Clubs as a condition of participation. Associate Clubs may in turn charge fees or dues to their members who participate in ACI benefits. In addition to any fees or dues charged to Participant by Participant’s Home Club, ACI may charge Participants a nonrefundable enrollment fee, subject to applicable taxes, to participate in Associate Club benefits. Current enrollment fee rates may be obtained at Participant’s Home Club. Enrollment fees may be waived from time to time during open enrollment periods or when elected during the inception of Participant’s Home Club membership, as determined by ACI in its sole and absolute discretion. Participants who removed ACI benefits from their Home Club membership in the previous 12 months may be subject to a waiting period or new enrollment fee prior to re-enrolling and may not be eligible to enroll during an open enrollment period.
The amount of any fees or dues charged by ACI is subject to increase in the sole and absolute discretion of ACI. By participating in Associate Club benefits, Participants agree to pay all fees and dues charged by their respective Home Clubs or by ACI. ACI reserves the right to restrict participation in certain categories of benefits to only those members who pay a minimum amount of base monthly dues to their Home Club or who hold a certain level of membership at their Home Club, both as determined by ACI in its sole and absolute discretion.
Certain Associate Club benefits, as described more fully herein below, cannot be accessed within Participant’s Home Club market or in any markets in which Participant maintains any place of business or residence, including, but not limited to a primary residence, vacation property, second home, rental property, other properties that can be used as a dwelling, or areas of extended stay, all as determined by ACI in its sole and absolute discretion (each a “Restricted Market”). Except as otherwise expressly stated herein, benefits are intended for use when traveling away from areas of home and work, and proof of places of business and residence may be required.
Participant agrees to abide by the rules and regulations of the Associate Club that Participant is visiting and is responsible for the conduct of any accompanying guests. Associate Clubs reserve the right to refuse access to any Participant who it deems to have violated any of their respective rules and regulations or other codes of conduct, or these Terms and Conditions. ACI also reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation in all Associate Club benefits by any Participant for any reason or for no reason.
Associate Club benefits are non-transferable, and may not be offered, assigned or in any way transferred to any other person.
Associate Clubs are subject to change without notice, and there is no guarantee that a specified number of Associate Clubs or that a specific Associate Club will continue participating in offering Associate Club benefits. Some Associate Clubs restrict participation to specific categories of Associate Club benefits and not all categories of Associate Club benefits are offered at all Associate Clubs. Also, some categories of Associate Club benefits are closed to further enrollment. The current roster of Associate Clubs may be found in the Invited (formerly ClubLife) mobile app (available only to Participants who are members of a Home Club in the Invited family of clubs), through the Benefits Finder on the Invited website, or by request from ClubLine. ClubLine is the most comprehensive and up-to-date source of which Associate Club benefits are available at which participating Associate Clubs.
All Participants must present a government-issued photo ID to gain access to Associate Clubs, and reservations for all Associate Club access must be made in advance through the Invited (formerly ClubLife) mobile app (for eligible Participants) or through ClubLine. At most Associate Clubs, two tee times are set aside daily for use by Participants accessing Associate Club benefits, and Associate Clubs reserve the right to limit or restrict tee times. All tee times are provided on a space-available basis only, first come, first serve, and space is limited. Except as otherwise expressly stated herein, Participants are responsible for payment of charges incurred through usage of their Associate Club benefits, including any applicable sales taxes, service charges or other fees which may apply.
Except as expressly stated herein, Associate Club benefits are not available as part of a Group Booking. As used herein, “Group Booking” means two or more tee times at a single Associate Club on the same date or any dinner reservation that requires service for more guests that can be accommodated by a standard 10-top table.
Assumption of Risk; liability release; limitation of liability; Class Action Waiver
Participant ASSUMES ALL RISKS associated with accessing the facilities of the Associate Clubs, including, but not limited to, dining and event rooms, recreational amenities and outdoor areas, grounds, parking areas, equipment, golf balls or clubs, and golf carts. Participant acknowledges that uneven or slippery surfaces, errant golf balls, and winding cart paths are some, but not all, of the risks Participant may face when visiting an Associate Club. Participant also FULLY RELEASES AND DISCHARGES the Associate Clubs, ACI and their respective parent, affiliated and successor companies and all their respective employees, agents, owners, affiliates and assigns from any and all liabilities, injuries, losses, damages or claims arising from use of any Associate Club’s facilities by Participant or Participant’s family, including any such claims caused by a released party’s own negligence.
If a resident of California, Participant expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims, rights or benefits that may exist on Participant’s behalf under section 1542 of the Civil Code of the State of California, which provides as follows: “A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party."
In the event of any claim, dispute or cause of action of any kind arising under or in any way relating to these Terms and Conditions or to Participant’s use of any Associate Club benefits and to which the foregoing release has been held invalid or otherwise inapplicable, the maximum amount of damages suffered by any Participant or other user shall be limited to the greater of: a) $150, and b) the total sum of upgrade dues paid by Participant in connection with such Associate Club benefits during the 12 months immediately preceding the events giving rise to the cause, claim or dispute. Participant agrees that any damages suffered by Participant relating to these Terms and Conditions or to Participant’s use of any Associate Club benefits would be difficult to ascertain with any certainty, and further agrees that the above statement of liquidated damages represents a fair resolution of any claims, disputes or causes of action that Participant may have now or in the future.
Participant shall not act as a class representative, a private attorney general or in any representative capacity, or participate as a member of a class, with respect to claims associated with Associate Club benefits and against any Associate Club, ACI or their respective parent, affiliated and successor companies or their respective employees, agents, owners, affiliates and assigns.

There are several categories of Associate Club benefits administered by ACI and which are closed to new enrollment (also referred to herein as Legacy Associate Club benefits): (i) Signature Gold; (ii) Associate Gold; (iii) Associate Plus; (iv) Associate Silver; (v) Associate Bronze; (vi) Associate Alumni, (vii) Alumni Travel and (viii) Play Away Select. Participants currently enrolled in any category of Legacy Associate Club benefits may not upgrade or downgrade into another category of Legacy Associate Club benefits. Any Participant who ceases or suspends participation in a Legacy Associate Club benefit category for any reason will not be permitted to re-enroll in such benefits.
The categories of Associate Club benefits identified above and described more fully herein below provide Participants with dining privileges on a space available basis at participating Associate Clubs which are outside the Restricted Markets specific to such Participant. Dining privileges do not include access to golf, racquet, athletic, pool or any other facilities.
To reiterate, Associate Clubs are subject to change without notice, and there is no guarantee that a specified number of Associate Clubs or that a specific Associate Club will continue participating in offering Associate Club benefits through the ACI Program. Some Associate Clubs restrict participation to specific categories of Associate Club benefits and not all categories of Associate Club benefits are offered at all Associate Clubs. The roster of Associate Clubs participating in the various Legacy Associate Club benefit programs are typically more limited, and Participants should contact ClubLine to determine which Associate Clubs participate in their specific benefit program.
Signature Gold
There are three levels of participation in the Signature Gold benefit: (a) Signature Gold Golf, (b) Signature Gold Dining, and (c) Signature Gold Unlimited.
Signature Gold Golf. Signature Gold Golf provides Participants with golf, racquet and athletic privileges on a space available basis at participating Associate Clubs and selected golf courses located at participating Associate Clubs ("Signature Gold Golf Clubs"). Privileges include two rounds of golf per membership, per month, per participating Associate Club and/or Signature Gold Golf Club, at no greens fees. These two rounds per membership may be used by either the Signature Gold Golf Participant, or such Participant’s spouse, in any combination. Rounds may be reserved up to 14 days in advance.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Signature Gold Golf Participants were permitted to add a spouse to such benefits prior to September 1, 2003 by paying additional monthly upgrade dues. For such Participants, the individual and spouse are each eligible to play two rounds of golf, per month, per participating Associate Club and/or Signature Gold Golf Club, at no greens fees. However, neither Participant may personally exceed two rounds per month, per participating Associate Club or Signature Gold Golf Club. If a Signature Gold individual or spouse Participant exceeds two such rounds, each additional round will require the payment of a greens fee or other fees as determined by the participating Associate Club and/or Signature Gold Golf Club. Some Associate Clubs and Signature Gold Golf Clubs in the Invited family of clubs participating in the rental club program may provide, on an available basis, a set of golf clubs for use by Signature Gold Golf Members at a preferred rate due at time of service. Participants may be subject to additional fees to access other participating Associate Club facilities.
Members previously designated as Founding Associate Gold Participants (see Associate Gold benefit, below) who elected to participate in the Signature Gold Golf benefit prior to July 1, 2001 were re-designated as Founding Signature Gold Golf Participants and their monthly upgrade dues will not increase above $20.00 as long as they remain in good standing and Signature Gold Golf benefits continue to be offered. The additional monthly upgrade dues required to add a Signature Gold Golf spouse Participant will also not increase above then-existing rates for such enrollments completed prior to July 1, 2001.
Signature Gold Dining. Signature Gold Dining provides Participants with complimentary dining privileges on a space available basis at participating city and stadium Associate Clubs (“Signature Gold Dining Clubs”). Signature Gold Golf Clubs do not participate in the Signature Gold Dining benefit. Privileges include two complimentary meals per membership, per month, per participating Signature Gold Dining Club. Each complimentary meal includes one item per course, which includes appetizer, soup or salad, entrée, dessert, and a regular coffee, tea or soft drink. Alcoholic beverages, guest charges, gratuities, applicable service charges or the equivalent thereof (which shall be calculated on the full ticket amount), and applicable taxes are not included and require additional payment. The two complimentary meals per membership per month may be used by the Participant, the Participant’s spouse, or by the Participant and spouse in any combination. Signature Gold Dining participants are responsible for payment of any additional fees incurred for racquet or athletic privileges, and do not have access to golf benefits at any Associate Clubs. Complimentary dining does not apply to groups, private parties, or special events. Complimentary meals apply only at participating Signature Gold Dining Clubs and may not include certain resort properties.
Signature Gold Unlimited/My World/Travel. Additionally, Participants in Signature Gold Unlimited may enjoy the following privileges not otherwise available under Signature Gold Golf or Signature Gold Dining benefits:

(b) Signature Gold Unlimited Participants may utilize their golf privileges as part of a Group Booking for golf outings, provided that such Group Booking requires two or fewer tee times at one Associate Club on the same date. Such Group Bookings, when reserved by Signature Gold Unlimited Participants, are referred to as “back-to-back” bookings. Although Signature Gold Unlimited participants may utilize their benefits to enjoy complimentary tee times in such back-to-back bookings, members who participate in any other category of Associate Club benefits who are part of the same back-to-back booking may not utilize their complimentary golf benefits in connection with the back-to-back booking. For example, a Signature Gold Unlimited Participant may reserve a back-to-back booking which includes two foursomes; if, of the eight players in the group, two are Signature Gold Unlimited Participants, four are Signature Gold Golf Participants, and two are Associate Gold Participants, all eight golfers may participate in the group, but ONLY the Signature Gold Unlimited Participants may use complimentary tee times for the back-to-back booking.
(c) Rounds reserved by Signature Gold Unlimited Participants may be reserved up to 30 days in advance, subject to space availability; provided however, that at most participating Associate Clubs, two tee times are set aside daily that can be reserved no more than 14 days in advance.
