Your Hasentree round begins with a 466-yard par-4 and closes with an uphill 472-yarder that plays longer than measured. Tom Fazio designed our course with unique features: a double green on the 10th hole and five par-3s, including one that measures 238 yards from the tips. Three of the four par-5s are reachable in two, a stimulating risk-reward feeling for golfers teeing it up amidst the rolling landscape of North Raleigh. Our course’s 7,074-yard, par-71 layout offers wide fairways and strategically placed 88 steep-faced bunkers in landing areas, tucking them around corners of doglegs and close to slick, sloping greens to test your skill levels.

Hole #1 / Par 4
This long up-hill slight dogleg left will challenge you right out of the gate. Keep your drive out of the left side fairway bunkers and you will have the best opportunity to make par. The green is deep with very subtle slope, so make sure you know the pin location.

Hole #2
The second is a moderate length slightly downhill par 4. The perfect drive is down the right side past the fairway bunker on the right. This leaves you a low to mid iron shot into a green that must stay right due to a false front running down the left side of the green.

Hole #3 / Par 3
Next is a beautiful downhill Par 3 where you’ll need to get your yardage right and aim for the middle of the green. The green slopes back to front with a slight false back right side. Shots long will filter to a closely mown area and the strokes will begin to add up.

The fourth is an awesome uphill straight away Par 4. A tee shot down the right side will filter off the hill and into the fairway. A drive left off the tee is where big numbers loom. Your approach into the green will filter off the front right greenside hill if you cannot carry your shot over the greenside bunkers to the left of the green. This is a tricky green with a slight ridge running through it.
